Assist Director and Deputy Director of the Analysis Center Platform ("Analysis Platform") of the Joint Institute in construction and operation management of the analysis platform, and provide support and services for various characterization and experimental work of the Joint Institute and TJU Fuzhou International Campus, which include the following responsibilities: 1.Collect and summarize the opinions and suggestions of the Equipment Steering Committee and end users on the platform construction. 2.Equipment maintenance and performance tuning, user (such as student) training, and offer advice to the Deputy Director of the Analysis Center and Equipment Steering Committee. 3.Attend appropriate or further training for important instruments and assist Director / Deputy Director of the Analysis Platform to develop core courses of equipment technology / vacuum technology. Qualifications 1.Applicant must abide by the Constitution and the laws and regulations of People's Republic of China and be passionate for higher education. He/she should also be a good teaching role model,with an eye for rigorous scholarship, and possess professional ethics, an innovative mind and good team spirit. He/she should also be in appropriate physical condition to perform their duties and the age at the time of application should not be more than 38 years old. 2.Lab engineer position requires a doctoral degree and assistant lab engineer requires a master’s degree. The highest degree of both two positions applicant shall be obtained from an international high-level university or Research institution. For those without an international education background, their bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree must be obtained from a high-level university in China (or an institution of Chinese Academy of Sciences with equivalent level). Concessions may be made for candidates of exceptional caliber. 3.An assistant lab engineer shall possess at least one year or more operation / practical experience in one of the following experimental skills / instruments. A lab engineer shall possess at least three years or more operation experience / practical experience in at least two of the following experimental skills / instruments: TEM、SEM、Thin Film XRD, Powder / Small Angle XRD、Liquid Nuclear Magnetic、In-situ Solid-state Nuclear Magnetic、ESR、Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry / High Resolution Tandem Mass Spectrometry / MALDI-TOF、UPLC / HPLC, High Temperature GPC、In-situ Temperature Change Raman or FTIR, In-situ UV、X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer、Raman/UV PL Spectrometry、Fast Spectroscopy Characterization 、DSC, TGA + mass, BET, High Pressure Isothermal Adsorption、XPS/UPS/MBE、DEMS、MOKE、AFM. 4.All applicants should possess good English-speaking skills in daily work and be able to read English reports and literature proficiently. 5.Applicant shall possess a positive and learned attitude, excellent teamwork skills and be able to adapt to the changing situations during the construction of analysis platform. 6.Successful applicants will need to work full-time in Fuzhou. Application Procedures The Joint Institute will accept rolling applications until the position has been filled. The labor contract will be signed between the candidate and Coordination and Service Center for Fuzhou International Campus of Tianjin University with three-year employment period for the first and the second term. Candidate may sign the labor contract with no fixed term once they are reviewed as qualified in mid-term assessment and in evaluations at the end of each term. When the Joint Institute obtains approval from MoE, the teaching and Research personnel of Coordination and Service Center for Fuzhou International Campus of Tianjin University may apply for personnel relation transference from the former into the Joint Institute after passing selection process prescribed by Tianjin University.
